A beautiful heirloom from Italy, these long slender onions have glossy red skins and sweet mild juicy flesh! Start them out early, they need 110 days to mature. But of course like all onions you can begin pulling them up while only half mature and onwards. Delectable when broiled, grilled or roasted. Best as a summer onion because it doesn’t store that well, and grows best in latitudes between 35° and 48.°
