A very old heirloom. I first grew this variety 8 years ago and it instantly became my favorite. They are only about 6 pounds each, 8” across and slightly flattened, with magnificent curly 'handles'/stems. The skin is dark orange and so is the flesh. Bake one up for the smoothest sweetest meaty pumpkin ever. Excellent for pies and all your other baking needs. Stores about 3 months in a cool dry place.
