The very long, 12-20" pods on this Asian specialty are sweet, nutty, thick and stringless when cooked, with a delicious flavor unlike standard green beans! Growing very tall they are easy to pick and fast to prepare, as only a handful of the super pong pods fills up the steamer. Great in stir fries and just steamed.
Likes a warm summer best. These do fine for me in southwest Wisconsin. If your summers are colder up north expect a reduced yield.
