This is the classic American red tomato. The kind you slice up for a burger or BLT. Tons of flavor, with a little extra sweetness thrown in, wonderful melt-in-the-mouth flesh, in just the right size for slicing. I love how they grow in clusters, with no green shoulders or scabbing, all perfectly round, and no cracking. Very beautiful tomato with great production. The plants are semi-bush so you can either let them sprawl over mulch or give them a cage. This variety has been around for nearly a hundred years!
