Really early Cayenne pepper with very heavy production even in our short summers. The plants are beautiful, with purple stems, purplish leaves, and the peppers are deep purple until turning glossy red ripe. Tall airy plants are lovely to look at. I dry these peppers down and they are glossy and appropriately spicy, making a delicious pepper paste with vinegar and salt, or a dry powder.
