This is my all-time favorite summer cabbage. Makes the best juiciest coleslaw! It always grows, is small and compact, and always makes sweet, juicy, tender-crunchy heads about 5-6” across. All in 65 days flat. If it’s not too hot out, they can hold in the garden for a couple of weeks without splitting open. Or pick when perfect and store in the fridge for a couple of weeks. The whole plant is a light green color, compact at only 18” across overall and 12” tall! Golden Acre has been popular since its creation in the 1920’s.
