Beautiful grey-green foliage and lavender flower spikes make this lovely perennial herb a great addition to a flower or herb patch. Growing about 18” tall overall, the leaves can be used dried or fresh with squash, rice, meat, potatoes, meatballs, etc. Has a real earthy flavor. The seeds are large. Press into the soil and keep watered for a week and they will do fine. In severe northern climates you would do well to cover with a lot of straw or leaves in the fall to protect from the cold., so it comes back every year.
