Fine leaved creeping plant up to 10” tall, likes fertile gardens or rocky beds and waysides. Slowly spreading each year, the leaves are very tiny and the flowers  are a misty light lavender. Easiest to use dried. Snip off the stems, allow to dry, and then roll the stems between the hands and watch all those tiny leaves crumble off the stems. Who couldn’t use some more Thyme?
