I am something of a melon freak, growing many specialty kinds annually. This is the one I am offering this year because it is so easy to grow and dependable. Delicious sweet and juicy soft flesh is a beautiful salmon orange color with very small seed cavities. The skin is covered in heavy netting and the whole thing is oval in shape with some ribbing and about 6# each. Very heavy production, about 6 melons per plant! The vines will grow 10 feet in all directions so for smaller gardens I suggest growing up a trellis or fence. That keeps the fruit from spoiling on the ground, too. Very wonderful!
